VIDEO: "Giant Robo" Japanese Blu-ray Promo Shows Off Pricey Set

HD remastered set comes out on October 26

On sale October 26 in Japan, the Giant Robo Blu-ray set features a 4k HD remaster of the OVA's seven episodes, and comes packed with a 100-page booklet, soundtrack, three hours of bonus content, and the English dub. It can be yours for the royal sum of ¥41,790 yen (about $535), but for now you'll have to settle for the much more affordable promo video below. 

 

 

Directed by Yasuhiro Imagawa (Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Shin Mazinger Shōgeki Z-Hen), the original releases of the episodes spanned from 1992-1998.
