Bleach

First off, my advice is to ignore the loads of crap about bleach being cliché and how "everybody watches it even though it's no good". Maybe I'm the only person that hears that kind of stuff though.

Now, I'm gonna keep this short and sweet: Bleach is a well created and original series, with a whole cast of deeply developed characters and a unique world where their conflicts take place. In my personal opinion, I love the manga much more than the anime, but for the sake of it being the anime of my favorite manga I love it as well. Even by stepping outside the box of the manga a bit (and granted filling the gaps with a few too many fillers) the anime is still an awesome thrill ride, and if you've never read the manga, I encourage you to watch this all the way through.
I suppose that counts as short and sweet, so there you go. ^_^

Bleach starts off great continues along great, and is an all around a really good anime. The only problem I found when watching, is the constant interruptions. Here you are watching some really epic battle, it's lasting multiple episodes. You finish one episode, at a key moment in the battle so you quickly leap to the next episode. Well there's the problem. The creators seemed to have a bunch of ideas but are too lazy to give them their own seperate part in the show. So they shove a few random episodes in the middle of the series. This anime would be much better with a simple plot line, instead of multiple complex ones. If you insist on watching the interrupting episodes,well, I warned you. Happy watching!

The Plot:
Ichigo is deferent from everyone else, there's something about him. Then a enemy like no one has seen before appears!! He needs to save his friend or family-member but is too week!! BOOM!!! HE'S AWAKENED A POWER INSIDE HIM THAT WAS THERE THE WHOLE TIME!! INCREDIBLY POWERFUL!!!!! and just in time to beat the unstoppable foe! But he still has a lot to learn... Every single time.

This anime is very poorly done.The only thing done well is the totally awesome fighting scenes, those are the only reason I even gave it any stars at all. The over dramatized acting gets annoying. The everything-is-such-a-mystery-and-wonder-until-it's-over-then-it's-no-big-deal thing is irritating. And everybody as a horribly tragic background that needs, at the very least, its own episode. The comedy side is funny.
But the only reason I stuck around is the action.

This anime is for people who enjoy:
action, comedy, the same plot line over and over, long drawn out anime stories.

I'm going to start off by saying that I have not finished this anime yet. I am up to episode 178 (I believe), however, from what I've seen so far I know I can give this show a five star rating. Long story short, I always thought shows like Bleach and Naruto were overrated and just way too popular for what they are. In some ways, I still think they are, but in others, I disagree.

This anime really caught my attention after Ichigo gained his substitute soul reaper powers and Rukia was sort of like his teacher. I love the drive that Ichigo has to do anything. He doesn't seem to give up no matter what! I love the character chemistry and bantering between him and Rukia, it's funny to say the least. This show constantly has fights and action and there are plenty upon plenty of plot twists.

I especially love the characters in this show, because each and every one of them is their own (despite there being 13 guard squads in the Soul Society). Every Soul Reaper seems to have their own distinct powers and uses with their swords, which keeps the show interesting and fresh. I also enjoy the inclusion of the Quincy powers and Ichigo's friends having powers (though I'm not very fond of Orihime). They all have their own personalities too, which is nice. This show has humor, drama and intense action.

I can say the only thing I haven't liked so much has been the filler plots and twists that just didn't do anything for me. After watching quite a few episodes, I can also say that the first three seasons were pretty much my favorite. Watching Ichigo go through all the fights with the Squad leaders was by far more interesting than where I am at now in the show. I enjoyed seeing Ichigo grow as a person but also as a Soul Reaper, and I think it's interesting that he is also part hollow. The show tends to have deep stories and rich visuals as well as entertaining characters which is always a plus. I think after watching this show for a while now, it's hard to see any reason why someone wouldn't like Bleach.

Ichigo Kurosaki, a 15-year-old student able to see ghosts. One night he meets a Shinigami(or soul reaper) name Rukia Kuchiki who tells him about the basic duties of a shinigami until a hollow comes and soon enough, Ichigo is given the powers of a Shinigami.

Mostly it goes a little slow until other Shingami arrive; 4 filler arcs, the villain is Sousuke Aizen, with a little of spanish terms(I never took spanish so i can't say it right). Out of the big 3 this is my favorite but it gets a 4 because of 2 filler arcs. The openings are unique in a way, some of the endings are skipable but the rest are good.
