Well, I dropped Death Note. Light was really whiny and annoying. Other than that, Death Note seemed like it tried to be badass, but wasn't. I still don't understand why so many people thought/think that show is "THE BEST THING EVARRR."

Code Geass. I also hated that main character.

Gravitation. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not yaoi fan, but I enjoyed that manga. The manga was hilarious. The show was just lame.

The Vampire Knight manga (it just keeps getting more and more dramatic. It feels like a completely different story.)

Fushigi Yuugi. I am so tired of plots where best friends ditch best friends/want to kill best friends over boys that they just met. After I reached that part of the series, I quit.

I forget a lot of the anime that I stopped watching or didn't finish. But there are a few I remember dropping for distinct reasons.

Kimi ni Todoke (rofl almost got the title mixed up, did anyone catch that?)- I enjoyed the first 26 episodes a lot. I felt like it was cute, slow paced because the author wanted to develop their feelings naturally and somewhat realistically. I mean by the last episode you could tell they both really DID like each other. Except when the second season rolls around, their maturity drops like 5 years of age and they are back at square one where they can't even talk to each other. I mean why did I even bother watching the first season if they are just going to undo all their progress? How can both characters be so immature and insecure that some of their misunderstandings are bordering on a level of SCHOOL RUMBLE's ridiculousness. Except the difference here is that School Rumble uses those misunderstandings for a comedic effect, and succeeds at it. While Kimi to Boku is for, I don't know a dramatic effect and fails miserably.

Seikon no Qwaser... if you don't know what it is, it's horrible hentai which I thought might be a anime with some dirty jokes... but the cake was a lie!!!

Usually not one to drop an anime unless it is truly tasteless.
Naruto and Bleach came close but I still give them their chances. Just slowly hehe.

I dropped Bleach, despite the fact that most of my friends who are now watching Bleach did so because of me.

Most often I drop an anime because it bores me but I dropped one particular anime because it made me disturbed...
And that show is Astarotte's Toy released here on crunchyroll. I liked the design and the first couple of episodes were sort-of innocent and cute, also Astarotte is adorable! But the creepyness factor is immense and I just could not watch it to the end.

Dragonauts - I can't really place why I don't like this one, but for some reason it just disgusts me every time I try to watch it.

Not an anime that I know of, but is a manga and a TV show. Gossip Girl.....I first saw this in in Yen Press and was instantly amazed...that a manga about spoiled rotten wr@res (both male and female mind you) could be so popular (10 points if you recognize the South Park reference), to this day mine and my sister's biggest fear is that my little nieces might watch this show or read the manga...and imitate it.

Hell girl. Three episodes and they were all the same, I just gave up on it.

I dropped naruto and bleach a long long time ago. naruto before shippuden and bleach after rukia's execution arc. sometimes I wonder whats going on in naruto, i guess lots... I never think about bleach anymore...

more recently I dropped Another, for the same reason I dropped higurashi - I can't stand the stupid gore. WHY? why the fkn gore? Its like i'm watching hitchcock and then suddenly someone changes the channel to saw 3 or some other pointless gore flick.

i'm also a little bit behind in Gundam Age - cause it kinda sucks, and i just might let it go.
