I usually can finish most of the shows I start watching. I did drop Gunslinger Girl doe, I know you can't judge a anime by the first episode, but after like the first 5 minutes that show put me to sleep.
I kinda stop watching Naruto and Bleach, only watch the Anime for the fights. |

Ranma 1/2 - made it to season five just out of stubbornness, but really, after season two, what's the point?
Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha - the transformation sequences were way too close to kiddie porn for my tastes. Hamtaro - the voices made my teeth hurt. World God Only Knows - *quietly bangs head against wall* |

lol @ your userpic then... Quezz wrote: I usually can finish most of the shows I start watching. Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha - the transformation sequences were way too close to kiddie porn for my tastes. Ranma: omg, no kidding, right? i love the characters, but really.. too many seasons to go on for -no- character development at all... (powerups are NOT character development, no matter how cool they are.) Nanoha; heh. you haven't really watched many magical-girl type shows at all, have you? i'm not exactly saying i -disagree- with what you're saying... but it's pretty much par for the course. also, just hit the "skip 30 seconds" button, and they're probably done with it. the rest of the story is really good, and (unlike most magical girl shows which seem to depend heavily on re-using stock footage) they cut back a lot on the amount of full-length transforms, except for like climactic battles. ... again.. not like the nanoha series doesn't have its flaws.. but as the genre goes it's realyl one of the best examples i've seen. and considering that the character IS in fact a spin-off from an H-game.. heh. --------------------------------- for me, i tend to just drag myself thru most series, and enjoy them for what they are. sometimes they might be pretty boring, but i still finish them. only one series -really- stands out as making me regret the time i've invested in it. (even ranma 1/2, despite repetitiveness is still lots of fun if you watch in small bits at a time) *dons fire resistant suit and heavy armor* Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu. *leaps behind cover* but seriously.. i loved the mix of drama and comedy of the first two series.. (FMP, FMP:2nd raid) and then in Fumoffu, they completely throw out any pretense of seriousness, and he spends -several- episodes running around in a brown mouse suit. i kept hoping (pleading, praying) that they were just starting out light, and the real storyline is going to pick up any episode now. and then i ran out of episodes. geh. give me my 6 hours back >.< --add: Samurai Shodown the anime is really horrible too. but it's MST3K horrible, so it's still fun to watch just -because- it's so terrible. |

Anything with a big jugs I mean to much. And pretty much all the mainstream shot I do not watch.. I guess I could calling it a drop since I watch one episode or two. Find out its crap. Most anime I do watch. Even some badly rated ones. I'm not picky when comes to most anime.

I recently watched Happiness! and my god it was HORRIBLE. There was practically no plot and throughout the whole anime, I kept asking myself, "when is the good part going to come in??"

Let's see, what have I dropped...
Naruto: It's just fatigue really, combined with a period of time not having access to it. I still keep up with the manga, but the episode # is so large that i just don't feel like keeping up at this point =P Shugo Chara: I dropped it off at like 10 episodes left cause I was watching it mostly due to joining a friend's RP based on it. I should finish it...or at least the first series. Not sure about anything past that. Actually I've done that to a lot of series. Digimon Savers I stopped with a few episodes to go XD, or Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Very odd. I blame real life for the most part. I can't think of a lot of series I dropped just cause I didn't like them. I don't count watching one episode and then nothing else as 'dropping' it so that probably lowers the #. |

OMG! I almost dropped D. Gray-Man but I toughed it out to episode 51 and then the series' excitement level shot through the roof. It turned out to be a really cool series well worth watching. Glad I finished it.
Anyway, I usually always try to finish the anime I watch but some I just couldn't and some I am still working on. I watched the original Mobile Suit Gundam, then dropped Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam about half-way through. Hajime no Ippo was to much of a sausage fest for me. I mean seriously, the only girl I saw after the first 9 episodes was his mom. I tried to finish Ranma 1/2 but at about half-way through it started to feel like filler. WARNING: the following are very popular animes that I yet to finish because they bore me. This list will probably result in me getting punched, shot or stabbed: Golden Boy - Stopped after episode 3. Afterwards I was like "Dang! Can't watch this with my family." Great Teacher Onizuka - Stopped after episode 1. First episode seemed like a copy of episode 2 of Golden Boy. Soon after I came to the conclusion that I really don't care much for stories that revolve entirely around only one person. Cowboy Bebop - Stopped after episode 11 or 12. Whenever Vicious came back in, I thought things were going to get exciting but I had already lost interest. I think I am planning on buying it to finish it up but only if someone tells me that it gets better. Samurai Champloo - Stopped after episode 13. The overall story was so freaking slow. Shugo Chara! - Stopped after episode 9. Story began to really slow down. By all means, if anybody can convince me to finish any of these animes, please do so. |

Excited? You should be...

Soul Eater- I got about half way through and lost interest... I guess I just had better things to watch... I might finish it someday.

man, its painful for me to read that people dropped shows like wolf's rain and hagurasho no...(when they cry). I just think that u should give them a chance, they might be slow paced but they're worth it.
also mahou sensei gets much better with the OVAs, recommend it if u liked love hina |
