And what about android app ?
Android is more popular than iphone in the US, and gaining share everywhere.
so android app would be prefeerable.
Alltho i can watch flash content, but its not as smooth as native  native is the way to go. |

I can now watch videos on my MotoDroid with the 2.2 & Adobe Flash upgrade. Sound is great but the video quality skips frames/seems slowed down. I assume this is what was meant by:
- We will most likely release an Android app when Android OS matures. Though, the way things look, you'll probably need a future version of Android OS in order to use it.
- You wouldn't notice much of a difference between SD quality and 480P or 720P on an Android phone since the screen is small. (SD looks fine on my HTC EVO).
- Most 3G connections aren't fast enough to stream 480P or 720P videos.
- You can still access our 480P and 720P vids through the main site if you have Adobe Flash but the phones aren't able to handle running the files since the videos aren't mobile optimized and Adobe Flash doesn't support hardware acceleration yet .
My question is: If I switch to wi-fi or get a premium membership, will it make any difference to my video quality?

Is the problem with Crunchyroll or with the way your phone is supporting Adobe Flash?
A good way to test this is to go to Hulu. Using the settings (gear icon), you can switch down as low as 288p. If you get the same frame skipping at 360p but it works better at 288p, the problem is your phone keeping up with 360p, and not something at Crunchyroll.
If its a bandwidth problem, switching to WiFi would probably help. If its a processing speed problem, check to see if there is something running in the background that can be turned off when you are trying to watch videos.
