you have got a better job than your parents but you lied that you only get paid 50 when you actually get 100 plus OT, you don't contribute in any utility bills, nor for the food, but you often invited friends in & your parents paid for all those expenses. One day, they find out all your lies, they want to kick you out, do you think that they are right?
In my opinion, this guy is shameless.

id doesn't really matter because none needs a public acceptance to live with your parents whatever age you are. there can be a lots of reasons, like financial issues, fragile health of parents, or whatever, but about the guy you mentioned dudau, he is parasite, like many other ppl.

...You should be helping taking care of your parents at that age.

In the situation you described, I'd definitely side with the parents.
However, back in high school, my Trig teacher (who is in his early 30s) told us that he still lived with his parents. He paid rent and everything, and the only reason he still lived there was because he wanted to save up enough money to buy the house from them later on in life (rather than inheriting it or having them just give it to him).

I think it's okay to live with your parents for a couple of years to save up for your own place, but not until your 30.
It's also alright if you just lost your job, your house, etc. and you're 30 and need a place.
I can't wait til I turn 18..

In that case, they should kick his sorry ass into the street. In most other cases, as long as the 30-year-old isn't abusing his parents' love and trust, it's fine.

It's all justified. There is no need for a leech in the household, especially a fat liar.

Since when was the answer no? You could even live with your parents' corpse if you want to.

@ Seraph: Why bother? If he's earning much more, can't he get himself into a much better scenario than living under the confines of his parents? You can only sqeeze out so much, when you could have more.
@ Marco: Yeah you can do that. Just don't blame me when you get nauseated.
