The show will prob have a sequel based off the fact that D. Grey Man is amazing. The manga is aswome and idk how far they are because I do not watch the show, but I believe that the manga is farther ahead of the show. Read it its good!

Theory about heart innocence:
based on all chapters of d.grayman manga to 57.
When Lenalee was young a group of desperate scientists creates something similar to a duplicate of the heart innocence and implanted it into Lenalee. I think Allen (Allan?) has the real heart innocence since it was never really tested what would happen if Allen's inncence was destroyed. It never was since it saved him from dying.

D.Gray-man rox. I am naturally attracted to it for sme weird reason. Too bad there aint any dgrayman psp gmaes. If not I would definitely buy it.

It's definitely in my no 1 list of anime to re-watch again and again.

It's cool, simply because apart from strong Exorcists like Allen and Kanda, the Generals are awesome too...especially Cross Marian. His uncooperativeness with the Black Order is still unknown...i don't believe he's a traitor or anything but he must have a reason for not 'reporting' what he knows. Definitely think that there's a dark side in the Black Order as its organization is rather mystery in itself.

Been planning to read the manga since the last episode doesn't exactly explain everything. Heard there's going to be another season which was why i've been holding off since i rather watch than read...well, there's still no news of it. Guess i have to read the manga after all.

D.Gray-Man is totally awesome.

The manga is admittedly a bit slow... It's a bit hard to grasp atm as well, seeing as it is goin so slow it seems really abstract... but I agree with yokotsuki, it is an awesome series, and a good intro to the anime/manga world (well, it was for me :P)

Also I heard they were makin an abridged... maybe this is just a rumour... but I hope they do

There's Definately a abridge series. I had come across it once, though did not enjoy it due to the "jokes" were kind of cold for me.

Other than that D.Gray - Man was a great series and would love it even more if there's a sequel. However, talking about the series and about the plot of the anime. I think the first 50 episode of the anime were not to my appeal though the story is just picking up it's pace and laying down the base of the story. After gaining the new innocence, which assuming everyone familar with this part (which i enjoyed the most), the anime became more "alive" and there's more action after that. This includes Kory"s blood innocence, the Generals' as well as the further evolution of Allens' which this is the part I enjoyed the most. Overall, my opinion of this anime is very good due to the action, comedy and some historical part regards to the Noah's Ark (not trying to be religious here).

I would give this anime 8/10 at most for rating?
Reasons for not giving it higher was due to the prolong fighting of level 2 Akumas and a fallen commrade till ep 50+, which took up half the anime episodes. In addition, the character design for the first half of the anime episode was not as good as the second part (e.g.: hairstyle of Allen). Although the producer might want to show the difference of how the main character has grown, still i don't quite like it that much.
Even so others might disagree on this matter.

For songs wise, I preferred OP3 (Doubt & Trust), ED2 (Pride of Tomorrow), ED6 (Wish) and ED7 (Regret). Out of these songs, in my opinion, OP3 is the best song.
