Do you seriously expect me to believe that toei said yes to a simulcast premiere but said no to simulcast of the whole series?
I can´t do that it doesn´t make any sense.

I explained the reason why a one time limited duration premiere event would not be a problem, but it "doesn't make any sense" to you.

I can see any further conversation is futile.

Interesting that the next announcement has "4/?" there. Normally, I would just think they would do the next one on Monday, but would Crunchyroll actually have the guts to do an April Fools Day announcement?

Looking at the mandragon.info countdown clock, it looks like Crunchyroll could announce Zetman as their 9am Pacific announcement on Monday and then start streaming it a little later the same day.

Is Crunchyroll's panel at the con on Saturday or on Sunday? If its Sunday, I would not be surprised if they make a few announcements at their panel and then post an announcement immediately after that.

Which convention are you talking about? Anime Contents Expo in Japan? That's the only major anime event that I can find for this weekend. Next weekend has two(Seattle's Sakura-con and Boston's AnimeBoston)

If CR is at ACE and they have some panel there on Sunday, then likely if they did post something it would be early Sunday morning. And yes, Crunchyroll could announce Zetman Monday morning and stream it only a little while later(or maybe we'll find out this weekend that Viz has it and will stream it on Hulu). If Funico has it, then maybe they'll feel compelled to announce it early(for them anyway ) next weekend. But I'm thinking Funico would announce Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? of the Dead first whenever they feel like announcing it.

Shounen action fans ought to be happy about this one(Saint Seiya Omega). It is a huge annoucement. I thought that Toei would have offered this one to Funico (although Toei probably should have considered this franchise's large following in Latin America since I think Crunchyroll would have done the market research on it).

If ADV had the license for the old TV series and Crunchyroll streamed the OVA, I don't see why Crunchyroll and/or Sentai wouldn't be most likely to get the license, either separately or together.

Yes, I remember that ADV did release some of the old TV series and I knew about CR streaming the OVA prequel, and yes it would make sense that Sentai would have a better chance of a home video release of the series if they chose to do so. However, Toei usually has Funimation stream their big properties(One Piece, Toriko) and I was wondering if Funico would try for a huge series this this. I mean, it's the sequel to a classic shounen action anime and the first TV anime of Saint Seiya in 25 years so Crunchyroll streaming this is a major achievement for them(and I forgot that Toei would likely try for broadcast deals in Latin America and in Europe to capitalize on the franchise's popularity there. Broadcasting it would make Toei a lot more money than Crunchyroll streaming it.)

Doh!

I hoped for Saint Seiya Omega..., In Italy the Saints still have a good fan-base.

Still having faith that some company take it for my country but honestly i doubt (the Canvas was ignored except for the manga...)
Let's hope Crunchyroll gets (and makes avaible for most countries as possible) at least the new anime os Saki.

I have yet to see anything in this season's new titles that fills me with a burning need to watch it.

I thought Crunchyroll would be at Sakura-con, since they are listed as an industry sponsor, but from the news yesterday, I guess they are going to be at Anime Boston, next weekend.

If CR is at ACE and they have some panel there on Sunday, then likely if they did post something it would be early Sunday morning.

They can edit posts at one time and post at another ... if Crunchyroll's announcement of something is being held up for an announcement by a distributor, they can have the post written up and post it as soon as the distributor has finished their panel.`

Funimation has delayed announcements for a con panel before, and with Anime Boston and Sakura-con next weekend, I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again, but I'd expect they'll announce whatever slate of streams that they already have signed, sealed and delivered.

But there's no reason for Funimation to treat it like a big deal, because its the sequel of a series that was never a big hit in North America. Its popularity somewhere else in the world would not be a consideration for Funimation.

Anime News Network has entries for French, Spanish and Portuguese countries (language, that is), but nothing for Italy. It wouldn't be surprising if TV Azteca in Mexico broadcasts it, for example, since from a quick glance through ANN Encyclopedia entries, TV Azteca seem to have broadcast not only the original series but also every movie and OVA made since then.
