I just finished watching Claymore for a second time and I still think it is one of the best anime series out there. It is for sure top 10 of all time. Is there anyone out there that feels the same way? Do you think there's any hope for a 2nd season? :/

Claymore came out in 2007, I don't know if there would be a second season. The @Ancient One would have a better idea. The manga is also out there, which is not to shabby.

I'm a big fan of Claymore.
Mikko, if you haven't read the manga, then do it. The events that happen after the battle in the North are on a whole other level from the anime. (If you do read the manga, then read from chapter 57. The ending of the fight between Clare & the Silver-Eyed Lion King is better in the manga, and the Clare VS Priscilla fight never happened.) |

Sounds good. I wonder if Raki and Clare get together again in the manga? |

Claymore was like the 3rd or 4th show I ever watched and it's still one of my favorites. I really liked Clare. It would be great if they decided on a second season but as some others have stated it's been a few years so the chance of a second season is very slim.
I'd also like to find the Clare figure but the ones I have found are very expensive. I'm not really willing to drop 300+ on it. They have a newer one but she's not wearing the traditional claymore armor. |

So many secrets about Yoma, Claymores, and their whole world get revealed. Definitely worth the read, even if you don't usually read manga. |

Well in the series it seemed like there were Male Claymore's who were the leaders of the organization. From what chapter should I start reading from? |

As I said, start from chapter 57, which is in the middle of the War in Pieta, and the start of the Rigardo fight. The Rigardo fight ends differently, but in a better way. The series steadily increases in awesomeness for the rest of the series. |

Ah yes... in my time of need and drought in anime/manga, Claymore was there to brighten my dark days. A very nice Journey/Action story filled with girls and monsters. Hell, it was such a good read/watch that I retold it (to the point where I was at which was back around the time after the whole giant death-god-tower-blob-thing) to my cousin and got him into it too.
Nothing but praise from me. |
