More great news to share with everyone! We launched our app on Samsung Smart TV last week to all countries worldwide excluding Japan. The app is available to download for free and currently to users with 2012 TV models. It will become available to other models as Samsung approves them.

Premium members can login with their existing accounts and enjoy many site benefits including: streaming the latest episodes (no ads of course!), the queue, searching for shows, and more.

If you don't have a Premium membership, you can still download the app for free and watch the first episode of every simulcast series to give the app a test drive. You can also always start a free trial to experience the benefits of Premium membership.

Currently, the Crunchyroll Samsung Smart TV app supports English subtitles and we are working on adding additional supported languages in the future. We are also planning on rolling out 720p and 1080p to Samsung Smart TV later this year.

I'm with avenz255 I just got a nice new 47" LED Vision TV. Would love to see an app for it. Using the ps3 now though so no rush. Just make things convenient.

Cool. This only applies to people who have a Smart TV application which I don't so that's a bummer. Aahh well. Maybe when I get a new TV it might be Samsung

Yeah, maybe they meant premium support? I don't know; But It'd be nice to have the same stuff available everywhere you use Crunchy.

I use mainly the website on my computer to watch and there's really nothing to worry about considering it's currently is the best way to access crunchyroll with the the most features(1080p streaming,News article,forums,video comments,video ratings,reviews,etc) and has a more robust and customizable que compared to the ps3 or android app. its also more stable and reliable then the apps I've used it just works the overwhelming majority of the time without any problems don't see how they could really improve upon the website its pretty much perfect as is imo as long as they don't leave out new features on the website nothing to worry about.

Microsoft typically wants a $40,000 QA fee for apps, plus a cut of any in app sign ups. I suspect Samsung's terms are much more reasonable.
