FansubDB has a TV anime called Tenpou Suikoden Neo premiereing February 28th at 7 a.m JST on CTC, TVS and TV Kanagawa.

MAL describes it as follows:

Tenpo Suikoden NEO is based on the Japanese classic folktale "Tenpo Suikoden." It's about a long power struggle between two gangs in the 18th century.

But if you look on the official Facebook page they link to, you see this image:

So either we have yet another series that involves someone from the modern era traveling back through time, or it isn't set in the 18th century after all.

The two girls look so identical that it seems likely to be a reincarnation sort of thing, with flashbacks to the 18th century perhaps.

I seem to be the only one who has viewed it, at least the only one to rate and comment on it and it came out almost an hour ago... gotta fight for a closer simulcast and if you are watching it elsewhere, please watch it for 30s here to give it some proper views!

I also can imagine that those like me who don't want to use fansubs are waiting for the first season to be streamed legally. Somehow I still think Crunchyroll will announce that they have got it. Sentai has already indicated that they have both seasons so maybe Crunchyroll is waiting to see what TAN's schedule for streaming the first season is?

And so they did New Catalog Titles: AKB0048 Season 1 , two to three episodes rolling out per week.

We'll see if there is a jump in the AKB0048 Season 2 episodes, either from people watching both seasons in parallel, or once the first season has finished rolling out.

Great to see them up!

Episode three of Little Busters is up already, probably get four later. I have episodes 1-6 on Bluray import discs already but will stream them on Crunchyroll to give them views.

Interesting... Today they made 4-5 of AKB0048 Next Stage available for free users along with episodes 1-2 of season one. Did they make a mistake or are they going to stop making free users wait two weeks for episodes and make new episodes available to all a week late for the rest of the season? Hopefully the latter. Perhaps they even read my post...

Edit: or even better yet they could give premium subscribers today's episode today for a real simulcast!!!

Well, that's not going to happen ~ they would have been showing it to premium members as early as allowed by their license.

The week delay to free members is not dictated by the license, its site policy (though in some instances like the Naruto and Bleach simulcasts, it may have been part of the side deal between Crunchyroll and Viz Media, to not do free streaming in Crunchyroll's one-week exclusive window).

In the past, they have sometimes shown delayed streams without that extra one week delay. Perhaps they took advantage of the launch of the first season to have a look at AKB0048's free streaming numbers and decided to change their mind and give it the same treatment.

I guess we'll find out next week ~ if ep6 of Next Stage becomes is available to both premium and free members on the same day, that would indicate it wasn't just a confusion between how they are handling the catalog title and the simulcast sequel.

We are about half way through the winter season (most new series have aired their 6th episode), and AoD has yet to premiere two of their simulcasts. Perhaps we should start taking bets on whether they will make it before the season ends. (I believe they will, but I would be hesitant to wager they will make it before February has passed).

In other news, we have 8 series already confirmed for summer (including the 2nd Kingdom series, which premieres in June) per Countdown, and 9 per FansubDB (which also lists Gin no Saji for the noitaminA block). We are still 4.5 months away from most summer anime premiering, so it is probably too early for the topic, but I'm open to public opinion.

They're yet to premiere three, and they're all shows that Crunchyroll got for other parts of the world.

In previous seasons, there have at least been updates saying "we've had problems with X" on Twitter. We haven't heard a peep from Anime on Demand on this, so I'm pessimistic about the series airing at all.

Just a blip, episode 6 is available for anime members on February 17, free users February 24.

If TheAncientOne reports that the three they are showing are the three French subbed simulcasts at kzplay, that sounds ominous ~ one reason for not getting materials you've licensed is not handing over the MG due on signing. If they had a mix of side-licenses from Kaze's French streaming and direct licenses in competition with Crunchyroll, it would be the direct licenses in competition with Crunchyroll that Anime-on-Demand would need money in the bank in order to pay the MG.

As far as you know, did that just happen on Saturday?

I really wish AoD would actually announce their premiere dates once they happen. Once their announcements for the season are over, however, any thought of PR or communication from them seems to go back into hibernation.

A couple of people posted about it being up on Friday, and it wasn't up at lunchtime friday, so it aired then.

AoD has never uploaded an episode on a weekend either.

Crunchyroll just added GJ-bu, which means that all the full length anime are being simulcast.
