We are excited to announce the upcoming release of our own branded application on the Xbox 360® console. The Crunchyroll application will be available on Xbox LIVE® in English in more than 30 territories, across all six continents (sorry to all penguins in Antarctica)! Premium members can log in with their existing accounts to access all premium benefits, including streaming the latest episodes (no ads of course!), accessing the queue, searching for favorite shows, and more! We will share more details after the app gets approved and launch date gets finalized. Meanwhile, you can still enjoy everything that Crunchyroll has to offer via website, iPhone & iPad, Android phone & tablet & Kindle Fire, Windows Phone, PS3, Samsung SmartTV, Roku, and so much more! :) ~shinji

I was hoping that you would be able to do an app for the Xbox 360 Dashboard, and here we are. Lets hope Microsoft doesn't take too long approving it, as this I will be looking forward to. Can't wait.

From a selfish standpoint, I would rather they spend more time on getting HD on the Roku (as I don't own either console), but I also know that these moves will bring in more premium members, which should translate into more anime, which is more important to me than the platform I can view it on.

I just hope that it won't take too long to come out in the UK... as a friend has a PS3, but the app is not available for that in the UK yet.... My appologies if i am wrong about the PS3 app in UK, just going on what i have been told...

Actually i own a xbox. Look up my gamertag Zetzuna F Sei. I do all my gaming on the xbox, but i use my PS3 as my media center. I just despise the xbox setup that you have to have gold to use apps ( i have gold).

Watched some episodes of Sword Art Online a few nights ago, and while they weren't in HD, they still looked pretty great on my 50" Sammy plasma. Definitely good news for those that rely solely on the 360, though. While I'm not a fan of paying $60 a year to use things like Crunchyroll on my gaming systems, at least they'll soon have the ability.

I'm typing this via the computer attached to my HDTV, but not everyone has such a permanent setup, or wants to hook up their notebook every time they want to watch something on the big screen, especially when they have a technically capable device already attached.
