    Short but powerful movie!
    A very short movie about a old man with a sunken home. While many people move from the rising water our stubborn elder keeps adding floor after floor on his house while the water rises and rises. One day his pipe falls into the water.     Touching Masterpiece!
    La Maison en Petits Cubes deserves to be awarded as Best Animated Short Film 2009 for Oscar Award. As you watch this film, it shows a scene with an old man, who looks all grouchy and alone. At first it may be just a normal film with nothing but an old man's life; there is no narrator who will guide us. But as you keep watching this film, you will understand the story easily. ...

    Art in motion! A masterpiece!
    La Maison en Petits Cubes is a masterpiece that has earned its place with my favorite films: Wall-E, Up, Octopodi, and Air TV to name a few. Without the burden of words, it is a story that all people, of all languages can enjoy.

    This story is told without words but through observation. It talks about an old man, living in a small house. You'll first wonder "What happened?".
