Naruto Shippuden

This has got to be the most interesting and engaging anime i have ever watched. The whole new world created always keeps you on the edge of your seat, honestly, each and every character created was done so with thought and precision- no where near halfhearted. The story line is ever changing but remains true to its initial roots, the music is outstanding and just as the lead character grows and goes through trials and challenges, the captivating nature of the individual gives no choice but to grow along with him too. Absolutely lovable and doesn't carry the slightly childish tone that other shows have but instead bring mature topics to light.
Impeccable.

Now don't get me wrong, Naruto is quite awesome! The only thing is the anime is pretty bad...I remember watching the Naruto anime as a kid and it was a great, than again I loved all anime as a kid and I had no clue what filler was and just assumed all of it was part of the story. Anyways moving on...Naruto is definitely a good read so if your interested read the manga instead. The Naruto Shippuden anime is horrendous, although I recommend watching the battles since those are actually animated quite well. The reason I am giving it 3/5 is because the show is way to slow paced, I'm 16 so I should not get so tired after watching an episode..its not me being tired from so much action, its me being tired of how god awful and boring it is. I love Naruto, D: so I really wanted to give it a chance..so now I'll explain why the anime is pretty bad.
There is way to much filler for one...it drags out way to long, over the course of ten episodes the characters will still be in the same place, sometimes even still doing the same thing. Season 2 for example was terrible, they were on a bridge staring at each other for around 6 episodes. Back to the filler thing, lets see here.. 117 filler episodes of 312 total episodes. 37% of the Naruto Shippuden anime are filler episodes. Now take that in. 37 percent may not seem like a lot, but think of the anime with NO filler... well even with that much filler, the creators could have at least made it interesting, but it actually makes me sleepy watching it, until a battle appears which takes forever. And leads me to another thing, for some reason in Naruto they find the need to explain there techniques to there opponents. So the battle drags on and on of them just staring and explaining there techniques, although I said the battles are great, this only applies to some of them. And I think I'm going to stop my review here with a final few things. If you do want to watch the anime, skip all of the filler, you can easily figure out which is filler by searching it on google. But before I finish, the original Naruto suffered even more filler than this one, having 40 percent of the show being filler and the ending season even being filler! Why on earth would you end on filler ? Okay...one more thing than I'm going to get out of your face. There is like no character development at all, you pretty much don't give a crap about anyone because you don't even know what they are like, they are all really generic. The thing is, if you threw out the filler and sped it up a bit more Naruto would be better.. 4/5 if there was no filler... 2/5 with filler

Naruto is an anime\manga series for those who are really into this stuff. I gotta admit that it has one or two completely boring seasons plus those flashbacks stories. The anime got a bit bad due to that you get 4 or 5 good episodes per season after Sazuke fights with Danzo. If you never watched Naruto the series when he is little i highly recommend starting from there. If full with action and will give you background knowledge that you should know when you watch Shippuden.

Naruto is anime about a world based on ninjas. Everything from the economy to politics relates to ninjas. Throw in some magic in the form of "jutsu" then you have a really interesting anime. I think its is most comparable to dragonball Z in terms of the type of action and story more or less. I read the manga and watched the anime but now I just read the manga.

pros:
- Great concept and solid foundation
- good development and dimensional characters.
- Interesting and memorable ninja fights.
- While the story isn't the best it does have enough suspense and twist to make it somewhat addicting. Especially early on.
- Great music that fits whatever mood whether sad or intense
- the Animation is pretty good

cons:
- The main plot of the series is kind of lame.
- Has some dark scenes and plots but for the most part its aimed towards a younger audience.
- Filler...filler...and more filler.
- Series is too long. If you've read the series from the start chances are you can point at a point where the series should have ended.
- Story starts to take a dive in terms of originality, it becomes a bit ridiculous, and sometimes confusing.
*POSSIBLE SPOILER!! (well not really)* This bugs me to and sorry if im ranting but there is a special technique that resurrects dead ninja. Once they are resurrected they are invincible and controlled by the user. And whats the catch..? nothing really all it takes is a random dead person and in a world where ninja die all the time that's not much.. This technique get so abused later on in the anime that its sickening.

Overall its a decent anime and at times its a damn good one. Its just not consistent enough for me to consider it a good anime. Its ending soon and you can tell that the writers want it to end. The concept and idea are really interesting, so much that you wished they started a new series within the same world but maybe far in the future with new characters.

This is by far my favourite anime along with DBZ and Bleach. The battles are well detailed, the battles alone don't just require a character to battle one another using aimless brutal strength, the battles are thought through well.

The story line has been the same since the anime started. Although they've stretched the story line this far, they have done a terrific job to keep the anime entertaining and full of twists.
By far a serious recommendation. Easy 10/10

Although there are many fillers and everyone's grinding their teeth to see what's going to happen, the fillers add a lot of depth into the story and that's something everyone needs to consider when watching a long lasting show. Everyone is feeling that Naruto is coming to an end and if it not for these fillers it would most likely be over by now, and if it had finished people would be wishing there had been more content and fillers and such.
