Hmm... Where should i begin? Oretachi no Tsubasa isn't your ordinary anime. This anime is bloated with confusion. It takes while to understand what is going on but its formulated in a way of beauty.

Story:
We start of with 3 protagonists Narita, Shūsuke and Haneda. They story tales the thee into their own love lives. A life of a handyman, a waiter and a school boy with opposite personalities of each other . These men soon cross paths and what reveals a jaw dropping scenes about their history together. for each protagonist having their separate;parallel stories , near the end of the anime is what reveals a false truth among them. We can say that Narita Shusuke and Haneda has their separate story arcs.


-Side Summary of the First episode-
Talking about the first episode again. The anime starts of with male protagonist walking to school with his sister and gets bombarded with three other girls. Now wait... Harem right? well maybe. the first 5 episodes will make you scratch your head plentiful times. Truthfully you wont understand crap till they reveal in episode 8 onwards. I didn't really give up on the anime, I WANTED TO, but i didnt, Narita's and Shusuke's arc really pulled me in and made me stay. Its a weird but interesting anime.


Going into detail; I was really confused at the first few episodes as i didnt really know what the hell was going on. To tell you the truth as a critic, i was not expecting anything interesting untill the late episodes where they finally reveal everything so you can understand the shitstorm the producers created. What seems to be a pile of coal turns out to be polished gold.


Pros:
The Anime is kinda funny with humorous puns, It is original and never watched anything like it. It has a confusing start but it was all purposely made that way. I was a risky move played by the writer and director but it paid off. The Characters are lovable and they all have a place. They even made Fanservicing a pun.

Cons:
On the first episode of the anime, the anime just vomited out all the characters into a silver platter and expected you to go with it. It made the viewers immensely confused as they start to lose hope that this would be a great anime. This caused viewers to give up watching and give it lower ratings.

This is a really good show though! You might get confused, but stick with it through the first few episodes and it will eventually make sense. The characters are really good and the story line is sort of bitter-sweet. But it really draws you in. For most people, the ending isn't what you expected (or wanted). I felt the same way. But I was still happy that I watched it because getting to the ending was the most fun part. If you are unhappy with the ending, re-watch a few of the middle episodes. It will refresh you and you can make it your own ending. ^_^

This is a great show, very good it shows different sides of the city life in Japan and has a lot of fanservice if you'd like that
This show is different and very unique! i don't really have anything bad to say about this anime, hah!
You might be a little confused at first when you watch this since it can be complicated and that's also why many people have given this a bad score but once you understand what's going on you'll fall in love with this anime!

lol, just kidding but like other reviews said this anime is pretty confusing. but honestly if you watch it all the way through it really explains everything this isnt an anime that you can watch while your on facebook or chatting it up with a friend because it requires attention to understand whats going on. at first you just kinda have to go with it and thats really the only bad part about this show. the ending wasnt my favorite i think it couldve been just a tad different but oh well!! art was A+, story was A+, romance A-, and overall i loved it!!!

I found this anime, very confusing, i spent my whole time watching, just waiting for everything to fall into place because i just failed to understand what this was on about. Through this aspect i thought this series was sucessful in drawing the watcher in, at first you just tend to think its a story about three different guys and their love lives but its the characters and the viewers curiosity which pulls the audience in. As this series starts to get a little more confusing i felt that really the creaters were strongly relying on the curiousity of the watchers for the sucess of this anime. I think that anyone who doesn't have an extremely short attention span would easily get through this anime and get to the end to finally be able to understand and for anyone who just watches the first episode of a series to get a feel of it will definately be drawn in through the characters and their individual storylines.

This anime aside from it's peculiar and confusing storyline is filled with almost everything you could really want in an anime, comedy, fantasy, reality and vulgarity, i also loved how it touched on such a intricate subject, how in the end you develop your understanding of (i don't want to spoil it for you so i will say...) a particular group of people and it is done in such a fun, adventurous way.

All in all i loved this anime, i wish it was longer than 12 episodes, i wish we could eplore the character's indiidual storylines more. The ending was perfect, all ends were tied and you were left with an understanding of how the future of these character's lives might pan out. Defiately a must watch anime, thats why i'm giving it 5 stars.

At first I was a little skeptic just from the trailer and the extended description, but I watched it and fell in love with it. Everything about this anime is good. The characters are very original and truly make a great connection. Not a single character was made with a cookie cutter. The music was fairly good and had some interesting musical bits, I wont say anymore in order not to spoil. The storyline was amazing, though granted a little hard to understand at first. This is one of those anime that you have to think about the whole time in order to understand and truly get the most out of. Every aspect of this anime was very original. 12 episodes did a beautiful job of taking the plot line and utilizing it to the best of its abilities, bringing it completely full circle. There is so much hidden meaning and inner perspective. Overall, this anime is really great. I normally don't like over praising an anime in order to stay unbiased, but this anime deserves it.
